These flowers disclose the reality of this deformed appearance. Our autogenous culture is becoming obsolete, and a new civilization on its own name predominates systematically, regardless of its suiting our sentiment. What matters is not whether the new civilization is good or bad, but whether it's accommodated and settled down properly and it harmonizes with its predecessor. It is a story about the situation of putting the cart before the horse, and the situation could provide hypocritical beauty and convenience but after all, how will it affect us? That's the story of 'strange flowers.' Several layers of the series of strange flowers are overlapped through very thin legs, so each of the appearances becomes vague and tries to look big. It says that my appearance reflected on a mirror behind a big figure has helped to make the shape of the strange flowers blooming or has remained an unconcerned spectator. The role of so called paper in this work is in expressing a dichotomous society. But it is also shown that the society is not so simple, by the paper making several pieces of layers into a big form. After all, the present society is a system made up of several dichotomous phenomena. The mirror of this work is to shed light on me, so as to elicit awareness as a member of the society more clearly. This deed is an intended tool to draw out the topic of the next story.
